Personality Profiling

Personality Tests – What are they?

Personality profiling is increasingly used within companies to find the most suitable employees to best fit within the organisation. Individuals complete a questionnaire, sometimes referred to as a psychometric test, however, it is not a test as there can be no right or wrong answers.

The assessment measures the make up of personality and both the end user and the organisation can put this to good use, especially for career or personal development purposes.

If an individual has been lucky and received a copy of their personal profile they will be able to use it in many areas of their life. The most important use is to gain a deeper understanding of their personality, where their strengths and weaknesses lie and to use this information in continuous development. It should also provide an objective view and enable the person to assess their particular characteristics and skills against the job market to identify their best fit.

BetterCV has partnered with PeopleMaps to provide candidates with an opportunity to do their own personality profile which will help you in career planning, preparing CVs, identifying your strengths and weaknesses, preparing for interviews and more.
